Fixing a Maximum Period for the Duration of Leases of Private Lands to Aliens

This decree aims to uphold the constitutional prohibition against the acquisition of land by non-citizens and prevent long-term leases from effectively transferring ownership. Contracts violating this decree are deemed null and void, and both parties may face fines or imprisonment. Additionally, corporate executives may be held criminally liable for violations. The decree took effect immediately upon its issuance.
