Extension of Term of Franchise of Cotabato Light and Power Co., Inc.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3217

AN ACT EXTENDING THE FRANCHISE OF THE COTABATO LIGHT AND POWER COMPANY, INCORPORATED, FOR ANOTHER TWENTY-FIVE YEARS

SECTION 1.  Subject to the terms and conditions established in Act Numbered Thirty-six hundred thirty-six, as amended by Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred thirty-two, and to the provisions of the Constitution, the franchise granted by Commonwealth Act Numbered Four hundred eighty-seven to the Cotabato Light and Power Company, Incorporated, to construct, maintain and operate an electric light, heat and power plant for the purpose of generating and distributing electric light, heat and power for sale within the limits of the City of Cotabato, Province of Cotabato, is hereby extended for a period of twenty-five years from the date of its expiration.

SECTION 2.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
