Amendment to C.A. No. 487 (Grant of Franchise to Cotabato Light and Power Co., Inc.)

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3341

AN ACT AMENDING COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBERED FOUR HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-SEVEN, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO GRANT TO COTABATO LIGHT AND POWER COMPANY, INCORPORATED, A FRANCHISE FOR AN ELECTRIC LIGHT, HEAT, AND POWER SYSTEM IN COTABATO, COTABATO"

SECTION 1. Section one of Commonwealth Act Numbered Four hundred and eighty-seven is hereby amended to read as follows: cd i

"SEC. 1. Subject to the terms and conditions established in Act Numbered Thirty-six hundred and thirty-six, as amended by Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and thirty-two, and to the provisions of the Constitution, there is granted to the Cotabato Light and Power Company, Incorporated, for a period of twenty-five years from the approval of this Act, the right, privilege and authority to construct, maintain and operate an electric light, heat, and power plant for the purpose of generating and distributing electric light, heat or power for sale within the limits of the City of Cotabato and the municipalities of Nuling and Dinaig, Province of Cotabato."

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
