EXTENDING THE PERIOD OF APPLICATION OF MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 47, SERIES OF 2012
Memorandum Order No. 67, issued on January 10, 2014, extends the application of Memorandum Order No. 47 from 2012 for one year, until December 31, 2014. This extension allows Deputy Executive Secretary Michael G. Aguinaldo to continue deciding and signing decisions in appealed cases that affirm HLURB's rulings or deny motions for reconsideration. The extension aims to further reduce the backlog of cases pending with the Office of the President. In cases of conflict of interest, Deputy Executive Secretary for General Administration Teofilo S. Pilando Jr. is designated to handle those appeals. The Executive Secretary retains the authority to exercise powers under the Administrative Code of 1987.
