PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1918
EXTENDING THE PERIOD WITHIN WHICH THE PHILIPPINE SUGAR COMMISSION (PHILSUCOM) WILL PROVIDE ADJUSTMENTS NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THE NEW SUGAR TRADING SYSTEM
WHEREAS, Presidential Decree No. 1905 authorized the PHILSUCOM to provide for the adjustments that may be necessary in the implementation of the new sugar trading system not later than March 15, 1984; and
WHEREAS, additional time is needed for the PHILSUCOM to work out appropriate and adequate measures and arrangements to assure efficient implementation of the new system;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby extend the period within which PHILSUCOM will provide for the adjustments necessary in the implementation of the new sugar trading system from March 15, 1984 to August 31, 1984. cdt
This decree shall take effect immediately.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 11th day of April, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Four.
