Extending the Effectivity of P.D. No. 333 As Amended Re: Importation of Liquefied Petroleum Gas
Presidential Decree No. 510, issued on July 18, 1974, extends the duty-free importation of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in the Philippines, originally established under Presidential Decree No. 333, until June 30, 1975. This measure was enacted in response to an energy crisis that led to a severe shortage of petroleum products, although the overall supply has since improved. The decree aims to ensure the availability of LPG, which is essential for various commercial, industrial, and domestic uses. The extension will remain in effect unless terminated earlier by the President.
