Establishment of the Zamboanga del Norte Breeding Station

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2424

AN ACT TO ESTABLISH A BREEDING STATION IN THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. There shall be established in the Province of Zamboanga del Norte, at a site to be selected by the Director of Animal Industry with the assistance of the Provincial Governor and the District Highway Engineer, a breeding station to be known as the Zamboanga del Norte Breeding Station, which shall be under the direct supervision and control of the said Director.

SECTION 2. Upon recommendation of the Director of Animal Industry, the President of the Philippines shall set aside and reserve such portion of the public land located between the municipalities of Rizal and Siocon, Province of Zamboanga del Norte, as may be necessary and convenient for the establishment of said breeding station. casia

SECTION 3. The sum of fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment of the said breeding station and for the purchase of breeding animals, supplies, materials and equipment, and for such other expenses as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
