Establishment of Sulu Pilot Opportunity School of Fisheries in Tawi-Tawi, Sulu
Republic Act No. 3684, enacted on June 22, 1963, establishes the Sulu Pilot Opportunity School of Fisheries in Sanga-Sanga, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi. The school aims to provide specialized courses in fish capture, culture, preservation, and other short-term fisheries education as deemed necessary by the Director of Public Schools. An appropriation of three hundred thousand pesos is authorized for the school's operation and maintenance, which will be included in future General Appropriation Acts. REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3684
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A PILOT OPPORTUNITY SCHOOL OF FISHERIES AT SANGA-SANGA, MUNICIPALITY OF BONGAO, ISLAND OF TAWI-TAWI, PROVINCE OF SULU, TO BE KNOWN AS THE SULU PILOT OPPORTUNITY SCHOOL OF FISHERIES, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Sulu Pilot Opportunity School of Fisheries shall be established at Sanga-Sanga, Municipality of Bongao, Island of Tawi-Tawi, Province of Sulu. The school shall offer opportunity or special courses in fish capture, fish culture, fish preservation and such other short-term fishery courses that the Director of Public Schools may deem necessary for the service area. The Director of Public Schools shall promulgate rules and regulations to implement this Act.
SECTION 2. The sum of three hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated for its operation and maintenance and shall thereafter be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts. cdt
