Establishment of Sarangani Municipal Hospital in Balut Island, Jose Abad Santos, Davao Del Sur
Batas Pambansa Blg. 348, enacted on March 18, 1983, establishes the Sarangani Municipal Hospital in Balut Island, Municipality of Jose Abad Santos, Province of Davao del Sur, with a capacity of ten beds. The hospital will operate under the supervision of the Ministry of Health, with initial funding not exceeding 750,000 pesos sourced from prior appropriations for new or expanded hospitals. Future operational and maintenance costs will be covered by the annual General Appropriations Act. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on January 2, 1984.

AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE SARANGANI MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL IN BALUT ISLAND, MUNICIPALITY OF JOSE ABAD SANTOS, PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL SUR, AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Office of the Minister, Ministry of Health, a ten-bed capacity municipal hospital in Balut Island, Municipality of Jose Abad Santos, Province of Davao del Sur, to be known as Sarangani Municipal Hospital.
SECTION 2. The amount necessary for the construction and operation of the hospital not to exceed seven hundred fifty thousand pesos shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 and Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Health intended for new or expanded hospitals. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. cd
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
