REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3860
AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SCHOOL OF FISHERIES IN BARRIO RAOIS, MUNICIPALITY OF SANTO TOMAS, PROVINCE OF LA UNION, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the supervision and administration of the Director of Vocational Education, a school of fisheries in Barrio Raois, Municipal of Santo Tomas, Province of La Union, to be known as the Santo Tomas School of Fisheries. The Director of Vocational Education shall promulgate, subject to the approval of the Secretary of Education, such rules and regulations to carry out the purposes of this Act. Said Director shall also acquire the necessary site for the school. casia
SECTION 2. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the said school for the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-five. In subsequent years, the yearly General Appropriations Act shall provide for its operation and maintenance.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
