Republic Act No. 4227, enacted on June 19, 1965, establishes the San Mateo Vocational and Industrial High School in San Mateo, Isabela, under the supervision of the Director of Vocational Education. The Act authorizes an initial appropriation of 150,000 pesos from the National Treasury for the school's establishment, operation, and maintenance during the fiscal year 1966, with subsequent funding to be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The Director is also tasked with issuing necessary rules and regulations to implement the Act. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on May 30, 1966.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4227

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A VOCATIONAL AND INDUSTRIAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN MATEO, PROVINCE OF ISABELA, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Director of Vocational Education, a vocational and industrial high school in the Municipality of San Mateo, Province of Isabela, to be known as the San Mateo Vocational and Industrial High School.

SECTION 2. The Director of Vocational Education shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of the Act.

SECTION 3. The sum of one hundred and fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred and sixty-six. Thereafter, the necessary funds needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. aisa dc
