REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3144
AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT, MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF A GENERAL HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF HIMAMAYLAN, PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the Bureau of Medical Services, a twenty-five-bed general hospital in the Municipality of Himamaylan, Province of Negros Occidental, to be known as the Occidental Negros South General Hospital. cd i
SECTION 2. The Secretary of Health shall promulgate such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry into effect the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. The sum of seventy-five thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the maintenance and operation of said hospital: Provided, That no amount herein authorized to be appropriated will be released unless the Secretary of Health certifies that a suitable hospital building is available. In subsequent years, the operation and maintenance of said hospital shall be financed in accordance with Republic Act Numbered Nineteen hundred and thirty-nine.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
