LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 1400

| SUBJECT | : | Establishment of Navigational Lane and Determination of Compliance with Laguna Lake Fishery Zoning and Management Plan |
WHEREAS, there is a need to immediately implement the Laguna Lake Fishery Zoning and Management Plan; ECTIcS
WHEREAS, in the implementation of the Plan, the delineation and marking of the navigational lanes should immediately be completed;
NOW THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E, MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby direct the following:
1. The Philippine Coast Guard, to immediately establish and maintain the required navigational lanes in the Lake; and for the purpose of keeping the peace and order situation in the area, should increase its surveillance and patrol especially at night. ACaTIc
2. The Laguna Lake Authority, to conduct regular inspections to determine compliance with the Lake Fishery Zoning and Management Plan and for this purpose, to deputize in writing or request assistance of appropriate government agencies or instrumentalities to conduct the same.
This instruction shall take effect immediately.
DONE in the City of Manila, on this 11th day of April, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Four.
