Establishment of Mendoza National Agricultural High School in Roxas, Palawan
Republic Act No. 8033, enacted on June 5, 1995, establishes the Mendoza National Agricultural High School by separating it from the Palawan National Agricultural College. The new school, located in Barangay Mendoza, Municipality of Roxas, will operate independently under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture, and Sports. The Act mandates the Department to create necessary rules for its implementation and includes funding provisions in the General Appropriations Act for subsequent years. AN ACT SEPARATING THE EXISTING PNAC BAYANIHAN HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY MENDOZA, MUNICIPALITY OF ROXAS, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, FROM THE PALAWAN NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ABORLAN, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, AND CONVERTING IT INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE MENDOZA NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL HIGH SCHOOL
SECTION 1. The existing PNAC Bayanihan High School in Barangay Mendoza, Municipality of Roxas, Province of Palawan, is hereby separated from the Palawan National Agricultural College in the Municipality of Aborlan, Province of Palawan, and converted into an independent national high school to be known as the Mendoza National Agricultural High School, under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports. cd i
SECTION 2. The Department of Education Culture and Sports shall promulgate the necessary rules and regulations for the implementation of this Act.
SECTION 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
