Republic Act No. 3405, enacted on June 18, 1961, establishes the Benguet Vocational School in Balakbak, Kapangan, Mountain Province, under the supervision of the Director of Public Schools. REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3405
AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A VOCATIONAL SCHOOL IN BALAKBAK, KAPANGAN, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE, TO BE KNOWN AS THE BENGUET VOCATIONAL SCHOOL AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Public Schools, a vocational school in Balakbak, Municipality of Kapangan, Mountain Province, to be known as the Benguet Vocational School.
SECTION 2. The Secretary of Education shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-two. Thereafter, the sum necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
