REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6499
AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LIWAN, PROVINCE OF KALINGA-APAYAO AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services, one emergency hospital in the Municipality of Liwan, Province of Kalinga-Apayao, to be known as Liwan Emergency Hospital.
SECTION 2. The Secretary of Health shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. The sum of one hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said emergency hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy-one. Thereafter, such sums as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. casia
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
