Batas Pambansa Blg. 533, enacted on June 24, 1983, establishes a ten-bed municipal hospital in Maddela, Quirino, known as the Maddela Municipal Hospital. The hospital's site will be determined by the local government in consultation with the Ministry of Health. Funding for the construction and operation of the hospital, not exceeding 750,000 pesos, will come from appropriations authorized for new or expanded hospitals, with further operational costs included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on April 23, 1984.

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A TEN-BED MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MADDELA, PROVINCE OF QUIRINO, AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established under the supervision of the Office of the Minister, Ministry of Health, a ten-bed municipal hospital in the Municipality of Maddela, Province of Quirino, to be known as the Maddela Municipal Hospital. casia
SECTION 2. The hospital shall be constructed in a site to be determined by the Sangguniang Bayan of the Municipality of Maddela, in consultation with the Office of the Minister, Ministry of Health.
SECTION 3. The amount necessary for the construction and operation of the hospital not to exceed seven hundred fifty thousand pesos shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Health intended for new or expanded hospitals. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. acd
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
