Batas Pambansa Blg. 509, enacted on June 10, 1983, converts the Maddela High School in Quirino into the Maddela Agro-Industrial National High School. The Minister of Education, Culture and Sports is authorized to organize the school and secure a suitable site through various means. Funding for the school will initially come from local funds and national aid, with future financial needs addressed in upcoming General Appropriations Acts. The act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on April 16, 1984.

AN ACT CONVERTING THE MADDELA HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MADDELA, PROVINCE OF QUIRINO, INTO AN AGRO-INDUSTRIAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE MADDELA AGRO-INDUSTRIAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
SECTION 1. The Maddela High School in the Municipality of Maddela, Province of Quirino, is converted into an agro-industrial national high school to be known as the Maddela Agro-Industrial National High School. cd
SECTION 2. The Minister of Education, Culture and Sports is empowered to organize the said school and to acquire by purchase, through grant, or donation, a suitable site for the school.
SECTION 3. The operation of said school for the current fiscal year shall continue to be funded out of local funds and from its share of national aid to local schools. The requirements for succeeding fiscal years shall be provided in the forthcoming General Appropriations Acts. cd
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
