Establishment of a Municipal Hospital in Balamban, Cebu
Batas Pambansa Blg. 616, enacted on June 24, 1983, establishes the Balamban Municipal Hospital in Balamban, Cebu, with a capacity of ten beds. The hospital will operate under the supervision of the Ministry of Health, with funding for its construction and operation not exceeding 750,000 pesos sourced from existing appropriations. AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BALAMBAN, PROVINCE OF CEBU, TO BE KNOWN AS THE BALAMBAN MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL
SECTION 1. There shall be established under the direct supervision of the Office of the Minister, Ministry of Health, a municipal hospital with ten-bed capacity in the Municipality of Balamban, Province of Cebu, to be known as the Balamban Municipal Hospital. cd i
SECTION 2. The amount necessary for the construction and operation of the hospital not to exceed seven hundred fifty thousand pesos shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Health intended for new or expanded hospitals. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. cd i
