REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11746
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A DISTRICT OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE (LTO) IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CATAINGAN IN THE 3RD DISTRICT OF MASBATE, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There is hereby established a district office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to be located in the Municipality of Cataingan which shall serve the 3rd District of Masbate and its neighboring towns.
SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) shall immediately include in the DOTr's programs the operationalization of the LTO District Office in the Municipality of Cataingan, Province of Masbate, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 3. The Secretary of Transportation shall formulate the necessary rules and regulations to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
