MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 14
ENCOURAGING ALL GOVERNMENT LAWYERS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 19TH INTEGRATED BAR OF THE PHILIPPINES NATIONAL CONVENTION OF LAWYERS
The Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) will hold the 19th National Convention of Lawyers from 16 to 18 February 2023 at the SMX Convention Center in Davao City, with the theme "IBP at 50: Looking Back, Moving Forward."
In this regard, all lawyers presently employed in departments, agencies, and offices of the government, including government-owned or -controlled corporations, government financial institutions, as well as state universities and colleges, are encouraged to participate, and those interested may attend, on official time, provided that they are issued the pertinent clearances or authorities by their respective heads of office, consistent with Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular No. 43 (s. 1993) and National Budget Circular No. 563 (s. 2016), and their participation in the said Convention will not adversely affect the operations of their offices, as well as the delivery of services to the public.
This Circular shall take effect immediately.
DONE in the City of Manila, Philippines, this 20th day of January, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Twenty-Three.
