ACT NO. 3561
AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE EMPLOYMENT OF THE PHILIPPINE CHAPTER OF THE AMERICAN NATIONAL RED CROSS AS A GOVERNMENT AGENCY IN TIME OF PUBLIC CALAMITIES, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
SECTION 1. Unless otherwise provided by the Legislature, whenever in time of pestilence, fire, typhoon, earthquake, flood or other public calamities the Governor-General may deem the cooperation and use of the Philippine Chapter of the American National Red Cross to be necessary, he is authorized to accept the assistance tendered by the said Red Cross and to employ the same as his agents in connection with the relief and mitigation of the sufferings caused by such calamities in conformity with such rules and regulations as he may prescribe.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
