Donation to the TUCP of LBP Lot in Intramuros, Manila for Establishment of Its Headquarters

On May 1, 1977, Letter of Instructions No. 536 was issued to the Land Bank Board, directing the donation of a 1,000 square meter lot in Intramuros to the Trade Unions Congress of the Philippines (TUCP). This gesture was made in recognition of the TUCP's cooperation with the government in achieving the objectives of the New Society, particularly in fostering unity, peace, and justice. The donation is intended for the establishment of the TUCP's national headquarters.

LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 536

TO : The Land Bank Board

On the occasion of Labor Day, 1 May 1977, it is my pleasure to direct you to donate to the Trade Unions Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) the LBP lot along Sta. Potenciana Street in Intramuros consisting of 1,000 square meters, where the TUCP will establish its national headquarters. The TUCP has been giving its fullest cooperation to the Government in the pursuit of the goals of the New Society, especially the promotion of unity with peace and justice. The TUCP deserves this gesture of appreciation.
