Proclamation No. 1739, issued on March 5, 2009, declares March 10, 2009, as a special non-working day in the Province of Bukidnon. This designation is in recognition of the Foundation Day Anniversary of Bukidnon, allowing its residents to celebrate with appropriate ceremonies. The proclamation was signed by Executive Secretary Eduardo R. Ermita, under the authority of then-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. The intent is to provide the people of Bukidnon a full opportunity to commemorate this significant occasion.

DECLARING TUESDAY, MARCH 10, 2009, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BUKIDNON

WHEREAS, Tuesday, March 10, 2009, marks the Foundation Day Anniversary of the Province of Bukidnon;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Bukidnon be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies. IDCcEa

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, March 10, 2009, as special (non-working) day in the Province of Bukidnon.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
