Declaring the Applicability to Officials and Employees of the Lower Courts of Administrative Circular No. 22-2004 Entitled "Prescribing Guidelines in the Grant of Loyalty Award for Officials and Employees of the Supreme Court and the Presidential Electoral Tribunal "
On November 20, 2004, the Supreme Court of the Philippines issued Administrative Circular No. 58-04, extending the applicability of Administrative Circular No. 22-2004, which prescribes guidelines for the grant of loyalty awards, to officials and employees of the Lower Courts. This decision was prompted by a request from the Court Administrator, Justice Presbitero J. Velasco, Jr., to authorize a loyalty bonus for the year 2004 for qualified Lower Court personnel, confirming the budget's sufficiency for this purpose. The circular aims to ensure that Lower Court employees benefit from the same loyalty bonuses as those in the Supreme Court and the Presidential Electoral Tribunal. The directive became effective immediately upon issuance.
