PROCLAMATION NO. 1802

DECLARING SATURDAY, JUNE 20, 2009, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LIPA

WHEREAS, the City of Lipa was made a chartered city on June 20, 1947, by virtue of Republic Act No. 162;

WHEREAS, Saturday, June 20, 2009, marks the 62nd Foundation Day anniversary of the City of Lipa;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Lipa, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Saturday, June 20, 2009, as special (non-working) day in the City of Lipa.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
