PROCLAMATION NO. 1635
DECLARING WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF KORONADAL, PROVINCE OF SOUTH COTABATO
WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 8803 dated August 16, 2000, provided for the conversion of the Municipality of Koronadal into a component city to be known as the City of Koronadal and was ratified on October 8, 2000; SDHETI
WHEREAS, Wednesday, October 8, 2008 marks the 8th Charter Day anniversary of the City of Koronadal, Province of South Cotabato;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Koronadal, Province of South Cotabato, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, October 8, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the City of Koronadal, Province of South Cotabato.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 6th day of October, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Eight.
