The declaration was made at the request of the Office of the City Mayor and aims to facilitate appropriate ceremonies for the occasion. DECLARING MONDAY, JANUARY 19, 2009 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN PAGADIAN CITY
WHEREAS, the City of Pagadian celebrates its annual fiesta on January 9-19, 2009 dubbed as the "Pasalamat Festival 2009"; DTcHaA
WHEREAS, the Office of the City Mayor requested that Monday, January 19, 2009 be declared as special (non-working) day in the City of Pagadian;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Pagadian, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, January 19, 2009, as special (non-working) day in Pagadian City.
