DECLARING THURSDAY, JULY 1, 1982, A SPECIAL NON-WORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF SOUTHERN LEYTE

WHEREAS, July 1, is a very special event for Southern Leyte for it marks the day of its creation; casia

WHEREAS, the residents of the Province of Southern Leyte, conscious of the significance of the event, desire to celebrate the same with appropriate ceremonies and to honor distinguished Southern Leyteños;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, July 1, 1982, as a special non-working public holiday in Southern Leyte.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
