Proclamation No. 2002, issued on February 18, 2010, declares February 24, 2010, as a special (non-working) day in the Province of Zamboanga Sibugay. This declaration is made in recognition of the Charter Day anniversary of the province, allowing residents to celebrate and participate in the occasion. The proclamation is signed by Executive Secretary Eduardo R. Ermita, under the authority of then-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. It aims to provide the people of Zamboanga Sibugay with the opportunity to engage fully in the festivities.

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2010, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY

WHEREAS, Wednesday, February 24, 2010, marks the Charter Day anniversary of the Province of Zamboanga Sibugay; SaIACT

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Province of Zamboanga Sibugay be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate the occasion, it is but fitting and proper to declare February 24, 2010 as non-working day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, February 24, 2010, as special (non-working) day in the Province of Zamboanga Sibugay.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
