PROCLAMATION NO. 1524-A

DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM DECEMBER 22 TO 28, 1975, AS GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES WEEK

WHEREAS, efficient government administration depends greatly on the performance and dedication of government officials and employees;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper to focus public attention on the role played by state workers in the social, economic and political development effort under the New Society; acd

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from December 22 to 28, 1975, as Government Employees Week under the auspices of the Philippine Government Employees Association and other government employees organizations. The week should be devoted to serious soul-searching reflection towards developing a dynamic and responsive civil service.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
