The proclamation aims to enhance public awareness of electrification programs, which have reached millions of consumer connections and nearly universal electrification in towns and barangays. It calls for active participation from government agencies, private utilities, and local government units to promote the importance of electrification in improving the quality of life for Filipinos, especially in rural areas.
