PROCLAMATION NO. 326
DECLARING SATURDAY, 28 OCTOBER 2017, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DINGLE, PROVINCE OF ILOILO
WHEREAS, the First Battle Cry of Revolution against Spain in the Province of Iloilo and the Island of Panay, known as the "Cry of Lincud," happened on 28 October 1898 in Barrio Lincud, Dingle, Iloilo; and
WHEREAS, in order for the people of the Municipality of Dingle, Iloilo to celebrate and participate in the event, the Office of the Sangguniang Bayan of Dingle has requested that Saturday, 28 October 2017 be declared as a special non-working day;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Saturday, 28 October 2017, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Dingle, Province of Iloilo.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
