PROCLAMATION NO. 1119
DECLARING MONDAY, 22 MARCH 2021, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BALIWAG, PROVINCE OF BULACAN
WHEREAS, on 22 March 2021, Monday, the Municipality of Baliwag, Province of Bulacan, will mark the 158th birth anniversary of Mariano Ponce;
WHEREAS, Mariano Ponce, a native of Baliwag, Bulacan, was a prominent member of the propaganda movement and one of the leading figures in the Philippine reform movement during the Spanish colonization; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Baliwag be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 22 March 2021, a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Baliwag, Province of Bulacan.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
