PROCLAMATION NO. 429
DECLARING THURSDAY, 22 MARCH 2018, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BALIWAG, PROVINCE OF BULACAN
WHEREAS, on Thursday, 22 March 2018, the Municipality of Baliwag, Bulacan marks the 155th birth anniversary of Mariano Ponce;
WHEREAS, Mariano Ponce, a native of Baliwag, Bulacan, was a prominent member of the propaganda movement and one of the leading figures in the Philippine reform movement during the Spanish colonization; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Baliwag, Bulacan, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Thursday, 22 March 2018, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Baliwag, Bulacan.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
