PROCLAMATION NO. 69
DECLARING THURSDAY, 20 OCTOBER 2022, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BATAC, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE
WHEREAS, General Artemio Ricarte, a general during the Philippine Revolution and Philippine-American War was born on 20 October 1866 in Batac, Ilocos Norte;
WHEREAS, on 20 October 2022, Thursday, the City of Batac, Province of Ilocos Norte, will mark the 156th birth anniversary of General Artemio Ricarte;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Batac be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to the public health measures of the national government;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Thursday, 20 October 2022, a special (non-working) day in the City of Batac, Province of Ilocos Norte.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 13th day of October, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Twenty-Two.
