PROCLAMATION NO. 1003
DECLARING SATURDAY, 05 SEPTEMBER 2020, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF GENERAL SANTOS, PROVINCE OF SOUTH COTABATO
WHEREAS, on 05 September 2020, Saturday, the City of General Santos, Province of South Cotabato, will mark the celebration of its 53rd Inauguration Day and the 22nd Tuna Festival; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of General Santos be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Saturday, 05 September 2020, a special (non-working) day in the City of General Santos, Province of South Cotabato.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 25th day of August, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Twenty.
