PROCLAMATION NO. 204
DECLARING FRIDAY, 05 MAY 2017, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF SANTIAGO
WHEREAS, under Republic Act No. 7720, the Municipality of Santiago was converted into an independent component city on 5 May 1994;
WHEREAS, Friday, 05 May 2017, marks the celebration of the Foundation Day of the City of Santiago;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Santiago, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Friday, 05 May 2017, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Santiago.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 2nd day of May, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Seventeen.
