PROCLAMATION NO. 1326
DECLARING SATURDAY, 02 APRIL 2022, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BATAAN
WHEREAS, 02 April 2022, Saturday, the Province of Bataan will mark the celebration of the birth anniversary of Francisco "Balagtas" Baltazar, a prominent Filipino poet and orator;
WHEREAS, Francisco "Balagtas" Baltazar, a notable Tagalog writer, married a maiden from Orion, Bataan, resided in the town of Orion, became productive in his art form, and died in the same town in 1862; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Bataan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to the public health measures of the national government;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Saturday, 02 April 2022, a special (non-working) day in the Province of Bataan.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 7th day of March, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Twenty-Two.
