PROCLAMATION NO. 458
DECLARING MONDAY, 02 APRIL 2018, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BATAAN
WHEREAS, Monday, 02 April 2018, marks the celebration of the birth anniversary of Francisco "Balagtas" Baltazar, a prominent Filipino poet and orator;
WHEREAS, Francisco "Balagtas" Baltazar, a notable Tagalog writer, married a maiden from Orion, Bataan, resided in the town of Orion, became productive in his art form, and died in the same town in 1862; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Bataan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 02 April 2018, as a special (non-working) day in the Province of Bataan.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
