REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6692
AN ACT DECLARING SEPTEMBER TWENTY-EIGHT AS BALANGIGA ENCOUNTER DAY AND A SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF EASTERN SAMAR
SECTION 1. September twenty-eight of every year is hereby declared as Balangiga Encounter Day and a special non-working holiday in the Province of Eastern Samar to commemorate the Balangiga encounter.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Enacted without executive approval, February 10, 1989.
