Declaration of November 4 as a Special Non-Working Holiday in Bohol
Republic Act No. 7448, enacted on April 27, 1992, designates November 4 of each year as a special non-working holiday in the Province of Bohol to honor the birth anniversary of former President Carlos P. Garcia. Additionally, the period from November 2 to 6 is established as Carlos P. Garcia Week in Bohol. The Act takes effect upon publication in at least two newspapers of general circulation. It was published in Malaya and the Philippine Times Journal on May 1, 1992, and in the Official Gazette on June 22, 1992.

AN ACT DECLARING NOVEMBER FOUR A SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BOHOL, DESIGNATING NOVEMBER TWO TO SIX AS CARLOS P. GARCIA WEEK IN SAID PROVINCE
SECTION 1. To commemorate the birth anniversary of the late President Carlos P. Garcia, November Four of every year is hereby declared as a special non-working holiday in the Province of Bohol, and November Two to Six designated as Carlos P. Garcia Week in said province. cdt
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its publication in at least two (2) newspapers of general circulation. casia
