Proclamation No. 1424, issued on December 7, 2007, declares Saturday, December 8, 2007, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Taguig. This designation is in recognition of the anniversary of Taguig's cityhood, allowing residents to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies. The proclamation was signed by Executive Secretary Eduardo R. Ermita, under the authority of then-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. DECLARING SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2007 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TAGUIG
WHEREAS, Saturday, December 8, 2007, marks the Taguig Cityhood Day anniversary;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Taguig be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Saturday, December 8, 2007 as special (non-working) day in the City of Taguig. LexLib
