Creation of Certain Barrios in Babatngon, Leyte
Republic Act No. 1732, approved on June 21, 1957, establishes two new barrios in the Municipality of Babatngon, Leyte. The sitio of Biasong is converted into a barrio of the same name, encompassing additional sitios including Lube, Ubayan, Calcagan, Cancamaoy, Opong, and Biasong proper. The sitio of Nababoy is designated as barrio San Ricardo, which includes all sitios within the boundaries defined by the Malubago creek and Tab-ang river. This Act took effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on August 31, 1957.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 1732
AN ACT CREATING CERTAIN BARRIOS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BABATNGON, PROVINCE OF LEYTE
SECTION 1. The sitios of Biasong and Nababoy in the Municipality of Babatngon, Province of Leyte, are hereby converted into barrios, the former to retain its present name and to comprise and include the sitios of Lube, Ubayan, Calcagan, Cancamaoy, Opong and Biasong proper; and the latter to be known as barrio San Ricardo and to comprise and include all sitios within the jurisdiction bounded by the Malubago creek on the south and Tab-ang river on the north. aisa dc
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
