Creation of Barrios Balaniog and Pulacan in Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur
Republic Act No. 2894, enacted on June 19, 1960, establishes two new independent barrios within the Municipality of Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur. The sitios of Bulanit, East Tawagan Norte, and Dalapang are designated as the barrio of Balaniog, while Lower Pulacan, Limpang Proper, West Limpang, Waterfalls, and Lantawan are designated as the barrio of Pulacan. The Act took effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on March 27, 1961.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2894
AN ACT CREATING THE BARRIOS OF BALANIOG AND PULACAN IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LABANGAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR
SECTION 1. The sitios of Bulanit, East Tawagan Norte and Dalapang in the Municipality of Labangan, Province of Zamboanga del Sur, are constituted into a distinct and independent barrio of said municipality, to be known as the barrio of Balaniog.
SECTION 2. The sitios of Lower Pulacan, Limpang Proper, West Limpang, Waterfalls and Lantawan in the Municipality of Labangan, same province, are constituted into a distinct and independent barrio of said municipality, to be known as the barrio of Pulacan. acd
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
