Creation of Certain Barrios in Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur

Republic Act No. 2836, enacted on June 19, 1960, establishes the sitios of Gumpingan and Lipawan as official barrios within the Municipality of Dumingag, Province of Zamboanga del Sur. This law formally recognizes these areas as distinct administrative divisions, known respectively as barrio of Gumpingan and barrio of Lipawan. The Act took effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on February 27, 1961. Notably, it was enacted without the need for Executive approval.
