Creation of Barrio Tibagon in Pantukan, Davao del Norte
Republic Act No. 5588, approved on June 21, 1969, establishes Barrio Tibagon as an independent barrio within the Municipality of Pantukan, Province of Davao del Norte. The new barrio is created by separating the sitios of Tibagon, Maubog, Kumating, and a portion of Magapalway from the existing Barrio Bongabong. The Act takes effect immediately upon its approval. It was officially published in the Official Gazette on November 24, 1969.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5588
AN ACT CREATING BARRIO TIBAGON IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PANTUKAN, PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL NORTE
SECTION 1. The sitios of Tibagon, Maubog, Kumating and the northern portion of the sitio of Magapalway are separated from Barrio Bongabong, Municipality of Pantukan, Province of Davao del Norte, and are constituted into a distinct and independent barrio of the municipality, to be known as Barrio Tibagon. aisa dc
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
