Creation of Barrio Singalat in Calamba, Misamis Occidental
Republic Act No. 6227, enacted on June 19, 1971, establishes the independent barrio of Singalat in the municipality of Calamba, Misamis Occidental. This new barrio is formed by separating the sitios of Singalat, Upper Katipa, Calog, Bulawan, Amparo, Bangkal, Mabas, and Tingkob from the existing barrio of Siloy. The Act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on September 27, 1971.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6227
AN ACT CREATING THE BARRIO OF SINGALAT IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CALAMBA, PROVINCE OF MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL
SECTION 1. The sitios of Singalat, Upper Katipa, Calog, Bulawan, Amparo, Bangkal, Mabas, and Tingkob in the barrio of Siloy, Municipality of Calamba, Province of Misamis Occidental, are separated from said barrio and constituted into a distinct and independent barrio of said municipality, to be known as the barrio of Singalat. cd i
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. casia
