Batas Pambansa Blg. 820, enacted on April 27, 1984, converts the Calamba-Baliangao Provincial Road in Misamis Occidental into a national road. The law stipulates that funding for the road's improvement and maintenance will initially come from the lump-sum appropriation under Batas Pambansa Blg. 640, until future appropriations provide dedicated maintenance funds. The act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on December 17, 1984. Notably, it was enacted without Executive approval.

BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 820

AN ACT CONVERTING THE CALAMBA-BALIANGAO PROVINCIAL ROAD IN THE PROVINCE OF MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL INTO A NATIONAL ROAD

SECTION 1. The Calamba-Baliangao Provincial Road in the Province of Misamis Occidental is converted into a National Road.

SECTION 2. The amount necessary for the improvement and maintenance of said road shall continue to be funded out of the lump-sum appropriation authorized under Batas Pambansa Blg. 640 for the repair and maintenance of local roads until such time that the maintenance funds for said road shall have been provided for in the succeeding appropriations acts.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
