Creation of Barrio Macalang in Dasol, Pangasinan
Republic Act No. 1707, enacted on June 21, 1957, establishes the barrio of Macalang in the Municipality of Dasol, Pangasinan. This new barrio is formed by consolidating the sitios of Macalang, Pantol, Tapac, and Pagdagaan. The Act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on August 31, 1957.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 1707
AN ACT CREATING THE BARRIO OF MACALANG IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DASOL, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN
SECTION 1. The sitios of Macalang, Pantol, Tapac and Pagdagaan, Municipality of Dasol, Province of Pangasinan, are constituted into a barrio of said municipality to be known as the barrio of Macalang.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
